The streets of Arlen are about to get a little louder. King of the Hill, the legendary animated sitcom that first aired in the late ’90s, is officially coming back with a fresh reboot — and it’s landing on Hulu soon.
This new chapter jumps forward in time, with Bobby Hill now in his twenties, chasing culinary dreams in Dallas. Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, the minds behind the original series, lead the revival, and the OG voice crew is returning too: Pamela Adlon as Bobby, Kathy Najimy as Peggy, Stephen Root as Bill, and Lauren Tom as Minh. Fans will also **possibly** get a final few episodes featuring Johnny Hardwick as Dale, who made a few recordings before his passing in 2023.
There’s even an early peek happening at this year’s ATX TV Festival in Austin. The reunion will feature a backyard BBQ (in true King of the Hill fashion) and a panel with cast and creators, giving fans a first taste of what’s to come.
While there’s no official premiere date just yet, the Hill family’s return is closer than ever — and for longtime fans, it’s shaping up to be a welcome ride back to Arlen.
